Expo exhibitors receive 2 free admissions to the Power Breakfast. Reservations to the Power Breakfast are required. Additional reservations may be made for $20 per person. The Power Breakfast is open to the public as well.
Power Breakfast Speaker:
Janice Holder, Tennessee State Supreme Court
Janice M. Holder is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of
Pittsburgh and a 1975 graduate of the Duquesne University School of Law
where she was Recent Decisions Editor of the Duquesne Law Review.
She served as a law clerk for Judge Herbert P. Sorg of the United States
District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and practiced law in
both Pennsylvania and Tennessee. In 1990, she was elected to Division II
of the Circuit Court of Tennessee for the Thirtieth Judicial District at
Memphis where she served for six years. Since that time, she has
received the Sam A. Myar, Jr. Award for Outstanding Service to the Legal
Profession and the Community, Divorce and Family Law Section's Judge of
the Year Award from the Memphis Bar Association, the 1999 Marion
Griffin-Frances Loring Award from the Association for Women Attorneys,
and was honored by the National Association of Women Judges as one of
the Women Leaders of State Courts in 2007. In December, 1996, she was
appointed to the Supreme Court of Tennessee by Governor Don Sundquist
and was elected to eight-year terms in August 1998 and in August 2006.
On September 1, 2008, she was sworn in as the Supreme Court’s first
female Chief Justice.
Since becoming Chief Justice, she has led the Court through its access to
justice project. She has played a significant role in educating the bench,
the bar, and the general public to the challenges of fulfilling the promise of
equal justice under law to all. She has been recognized by the state's
access to justice community and the private bar for her leadership and
support for access to justice organizations. On April 3, 2009, she was
appointed the first liaison to the Access to Justice Commission.

Expo2010 Afternoon Seminar

Christine will be conducting an overview of the Social Media Revolution including talking about “The Big Three”: LinkedIn, Facebook & Twitter. She will also be reviewing case studies and provide useful resources for Social Media Networking.
The afternoon seminar is free and open to the public. Reservations are strongly encouraged as seating is limited.

will have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of samplings from Jason's Deli located near the cafe as well as network
with other attendees and Exhibitors.
Entertaining us during the lunch hour in the Networking Café will be La Don Jones accompanied by Teresa Albright with Eclectic.
Eclectic utilizes live music fused with a “digital band” sound and provides a wide selection of musical genres.
La Don’s specialties range from the crooning style of “Beyond the Sea” to the ever-popular Temptations’ “My Girl”, to the all-time favorite “Cat’s In The Cradle”. Let’s not leave out several Lynyrd Skynyrd selections!
La Don has been involved in the Memphis community for many years, having served in a number of leadership positions. His background is in Healthcare and Health Administration with an emphasis on wellness. He has served as board chair of Leadership Memphis, board chair of Porter-Leath Children’s Home, board chair of the Shelby County Crime Commission, VP of Baptist College of Health Sciences, and many other roles. La Don is currently the Director of the Health Administration Program at the University of Memphis.
Teresa’s elegant and tasteful piano repertoire includes jazz, light classics, standards from the fabulous 40s and holiday selections plus much more.
Teresa is a popular piano teacher in the Memphis area, and is currently Music Director at First Unity Church in Cordova, TN.
Eclectic will be performing from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in the Networking Café located in the lobby of Germantown Performing Arts Centre.
